The Unscheduling Method
In your calendar, first schedule the following in this order:
- Fixed Commitments - Meals, commute, sleep, mandatory meetings
- Self-care Activities - Meditation, exercise, personal health time
- Guilt-free Play - Socializing, hobbies, leisure activities
- Work - Only then, schedule work into remaining time blocks
