Overview

NFC badge time tracking uses contactless smart cards or badges to record employee clock-ins and clock-outs. A simple tap on an NFC reader captures the time entry, eliminating buddy punching and providing a hygienic alternative to fingerprint or PIN-based systems.

How It Works

  1. Employee receives unique NFC badge/card
  2. Badge contains encrypted employee ID
  3. Employee taps badge on NFC reader (phone, tablet, or dedicated device)
  4. System records time entry with employee ID and timestamp
  5. Optional photo capture for additional verification
  6. Data syncs to cloud for reporting
