The Four Ds
When encountering any task, email, or request, choose one of four actions:
1. Do
Complete immediately if it takes less than 2-5 minutes.
2. Delegate
Assign to someone else if they can do it better, faster, or it's their responsibility.
3. Defer
Schedule for a specific time if it requires more time or isn't urgent.
4. Delete/Drop
Eliminate if it's not important, not aligned with goals, or won't have impact.
